One more point that stuck out to me: the unemployment rate for Black Americans also rose. It was 7.1% in Mar 2026, up from 6.2% in Mar 2025

The March jobs report is out with some alarming points:

Disabled women are being pushed out of the workforce. Their unemployment rate was 9.1% in March, up from 6.7% in 2025.

Compare that to the unemployment rate for non-disabled women, which was unchanged, at 3.8%.
