Heading down that way tomorrow and looks like the weather should be just as nice, so I'm hoping for similar vibes ๐

I am never, ever going to want an AI to summarize a document for me. I use my brain for that.
In progress cross-stitch depicting a small earth-tone dragon.
In-progress cross-stitch project depicting plant motifs in various colors.
Working on the last little dragon from the Tea Dragon SAL and my thread-end sampler. I got through most of my backlog of ends ๐
Looking great. I love the fabric you chose!
Beautiful! ๐คฉ
Early dinner is great! Restaurants are less crowded and sometimes you can get a Happy Hour deal! My spouse and I have been eating early and joking about being old for over a decade now ๐
Agreed. No matter how great your writing, or how important the subject, I won't read or share Substack-hosted material.
Sometimes I wonder if working from home for so long has turned me into a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird. Then I remember that I have always been a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird.
Again, if you have a Substack, the best time to switch away was months ago -- but today's the second best time.
A tricolor corgi with a curly tail, sitting on the grass. There is a smattering of dewdrops on her snoot.
I've been remiss in posting Emma pics. Here she is yesterday morning with a snoot bedecked in dewdrops.
Gawd I hate this. Obviously I checked if it could be done online before I submitted myself to the hell of phone trees and hold music.
It's been way too long! We'll have Emma *and* my mom-in-law with us!
Pure concentration!
See you there! I love this festival ๐
Oh cool, I put Nectar on my TBR without having any idea where I could get it, of course I should have thought of you!
Fantasy for men? What would that even look like? Let me cross my arms under my breasts and yank on my braid while I think about it.
That's gorgeous, great stitching!
That's super cute!
Love those colors!
In progress cross-stitch depicting a small green dragon and mint leaves.
In progress cross-stitch sampler of plant motifs in reds, oranges, and greens.
I've got two WIPs going! A Peppermint Tea Dragon and a thread end sampler. I've got quite a pile of ends to work through.

I've never watched Critical Role but I love this tea, it's such a nice one to end a cold winter day with.
I'm reading one non-fiction book about Nazi art theft in Vienna and one poetry collection by a Palestinian poet and honestly the more I read non-fiction, the more I despair that humanity keeps making the same horrible mistakes in new, horrible ways.
You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

I feel like my senators keep emphasizing Trump's "illegal" war, and I just want to know, in what industry would one be allowed to keep their job after constantly doing illegal things that get people killed? If I had a company car at work and I kept running people over, I would lose my job.
I believe I started with The Tea Master and the Detective.
Love to see this Old Skool style of painted fantasy cover. They're so rare these days!
Blessings on Madi at the North Seattle Ulta who not only found a really good dupe for my favorite discontinued concealer (which I've been using for about a decade) but also found one that was only $9.
