Please remember that most "surprising news" today will be fake. Except for the horrible stuff... that is, sadly, NOT an April Fools joke.

Well crap. How ever could the calm, even-handed winner of the prestigious FIFA Peace Prize do this? [/sarcasm]
Just a wall of dementia...
So cool!
Realizing that these Kirk doxxings are just a practice run so they'll be more efficient at going after anyone who celebrates when the Cheeto finally shuffles off this bruised orange coil...
I don't know. It's possible to do Mass shooting jokes that are sensitive and/or supportive to victims, but this isn't that. This is removing the horror & victims, and turning it into a punchline.
He just needs to go to EBaum's World...
It's a good thing he didn't fly too close to a thrown beer can he then chugged... because it'd be really warm beer, being so close to the sun & all.
This is beautiful. I saw on FB that you were embarrassed by the pun of this Mom Joke. Never shy away from puns. At certain points of human history they were considered the highest form of humor.
Disney+ chose today, July 4, to release the new season of a French superhero show. I am both excited (because our family loves this show) and impressed at D+'s levels of shade thrown at nationalists.
Was there a water thing that happened in 2012? I know Flint MI with their undrinkable water started getting heavily reported in 2014, but it was prob going on in 2012 as well. Or is this about that short film 'Water'?
I've heard versions of this joke before. Alt punchline is "because then you're a mile away & they can't chase you bc you have their shoes".
It's not a new issue, either. For almost as long as science fiction has existed, so has the sexy lady robot companion. Well, except the first sci-fi story, Frankenstein... but that was [checks notes] written by a woman.
This is brilliant. And hits a wide audience. I feel the same way about the 'shibboleth' story (re-popularized by that episode of the West Wing), but that's more nuanced religious text analysis than humor, so probably use your funny & accessible one instead of my niche one.
The squirrel war is real. We've lost cucumbers, various berries, a potato, and a pumpkin to those grey jerks. Just wait till you start birding and have to get "squirrel-buster" feeders. They're a weird mix of Tony Stark & Rube Goldberg.
One of those photo spread images where it looks like a rainbow (or squirrel), but when you look close it's a thousand butterfly pictures stitched together. The cover will have infinite replay value as folks focus on diff tiny butterflies.
Somewhere there's a follow-up about Zoom-in meetings... but I also have zero doubts that there are "office coworker" fetish folks on OF, so I'm not sure where that line between humor & reality lies.
But yes, this joke was worth the years & debt of college.
Also, with zombie defender Kheru Dreadmaw, that little dude at the edge of the pit could totally be pointing at something off-screen that is not the giant zombie croc below him...
I LOVE this idea. Before the store closed, I used to run MTG (and D&D, board game night, etc) at our FLGS, and I remember kitchen table decks I built of "right-facers", "left-facers", and "front-facers". I also did an arachnids deck before Ishkanah made spider tribal viable.

Tree pose? More like tree-fiddy pose with these tariffs.
But is it law? Can we instead call ICE "Executive Order Enforcement" or "Mercurial Social Media Post Enforcement"?
You're not worried this joke is a little... rank?
Oh, this one is really good.
Wow... you have a LOT of exes! Unless the TX population also contains non-exes. ๐
