“Some things you must always be unable to bear. Injustice and outrage and dishonor and shame. No matter how young you are and how old you have got. Not for kudos and not for cash. Your picture in the paper nor money in the bank, neither. Just refuse to bear them.” #Faulkner #JackKornfield #reading

The book cover of The Generosity of Plants: Shared Wisdom from the Community of Herb Lovers, gathered by Rosemary Gladstar. The cover features an intricate watercolor-style illustration of various ferns and botanical elements in shades of green, red, orange, and yellow. The title is in elegant dark green serif font, with the subtitle in a smaller, warm red italicized serif. The background has a textured, off-white paper effect, and the surrounding design includes pressed fern leaves.

The stakes are just too high.
Instead they blame immigrants

Where there is darkness, light.” – adapted from the Prayer of St. Francis. The text is in white serif font with italicized emphasis on key words. The background features a softly blurred green setting, with a vibrant purple coneflower (Echinacea) in the foreground. Now, more than ever, we need to lean in toward the light.
Look to the plants…build community, walk with compassion and love, stand strong like an Oak.
It’s a small thing friends, but if you see someone talking about what they’ve done for the boycott today, LIKE IT! It doesn’t hurt you, and it helps encourage and build this community support and movement. We need to SEE each other and build each other up to a bigger movement.
