This is horrific. A U.S. citizen describes the facility in Arizona that her husband was brought to while he waited to be put on a deportation flight. Dozens of people were crammed into tiny cells, there was a "chain of people vomiting" from filthy toilets, no medical care, and only one meal per day.

Several years ago, I got an error when trying to purchase flights on mobile, with no confirmation email, and had to call to confirm whether the charge and reservation actually went through.

For me (43) it's because many websites, especially high-inertia institutions like banks, flubbed their transition to mobile, and I couldn't trust that a high-stakes transaction would actually go through. That distrust still lingers.

To be clear, ICE agents are still being paid. TSA agents are not. A gut punch for these folks who have to work under this reality.
