It never occurred to me that it's so much easier just to remake Japanese ADVs in Adventure Game Studio than it would be to hack and translate the original game. If I had infinite time, I would definitely try this.

I just recently learned that the Sega CD ADV "Urusei Yatsura: Dear My Friend" received a fan-made port to PC via Adventure Game Studio a few years ago which includes a near-complete English translation! archive.org/details/urus...
A lot of this stuff is otherwise only sold in their online shop which is located in South Korea 😪
Playing hooky to visit the Cookie Run Kingdom popup store in Times Square. I haven't really played it but my daughter is a big fan. There was a huge line over the weekend but we were able to walk right in this morning.

I kept at it this afternoon and it's gotten quite a bit better. The first boss was so much unnecessarily harder than the next few
I hate soulslikes and I had no idea what I was getting into
I think i need to do the same
I think I'm out of my depth, I have not played a Team Ninja game in 20+ years. I didn't really care for FF16 either but this game already needs to settle down this early
I had this issue with Xenoblade 2 big time
Final Fantasy Strangers in Paradise has one of the worst tutorials/opening levels I've played in ages. There's like 50 pages of tutorial text and when you get to the (pretty difficult) first boss, all it can tell you is "block its attacks" and "don't get hit"
I think I may be out of my depth with this one. I've never played Nioh, I haven't played Ninja Gaiden since like 2003 and I certainly wasn't very good at it back then
Apparently there's a Cookie Run Kingdom event at a store at Times Square here in NYC. We tried to hit it up but the line was crazy
Eras update is out on ios! 9 new rasslers by your pal Rusty! i'll get some more shots once the apple one updates
Streets of Fire is a laserdisc movie
it is absolutely FFV/T's job system + Persona
Yeah the stompy thing level, good to hear!
Oh excellent!
Got the R-Type Delta HD version in today. Did they ever patch those issues with the lack of slowdown?
That was the big reason as a whole, there were some other ones specific to JRPGs that got them treated like this (AA entries mostly disappearing, many RPGS downscaling to portable which works in Japan but not elsewhere, etc)
I never figured it out, I just loaded the game in a different emulator if I needed to take screens
I decided to re-register an account to enjoy the memes of our 1990s #MoonChild game. 😁👍
I designed Hoi and Moon Child. Reinier van Vliet coded it, and Ramon Braumuller made the soundtrack.

I picked up the new Zone of the Enders Bluray, I remember watching the Idolo OVA back when it came out and being underwhelmed, let's see how the TV series is
It's Rygar's birthday! That's right, 'twas this time back in 1987 when Rygar reached the Famicom.
