I had a wonderful time at Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson’s State of the Village address. I look forward continuing my work with Mayor Johnson as we deliver results for our residents.

My thoughts are with my former colleague Dennis Deer’s family in the wake of this terrible tragedy. This is a tremendous loss for Cook County, and I pray that the family finds peace and strength in the days ahead.

This solar array is 1.5 MW and will result in an annual greenhouse gas emissions reduction of 722 metric tons of carbon dioxide. This puts the county even closer to its goal of 100% renewable energy used by county buildings by 2030.
