This isn't replacing my current logo (at least I don't plan to anytime soon) but I'll be using it for anything metal-related moving forward and it'll be a part of my branding in general.

I designed and drew it, but shoutout to @theotakuartist.bsky.social for digitizing and upscaling it.

It's meant to be a parody of all those illegible metal band logos, but I actually designed it fairly carefully. There's quite a few intentional details you'll notice if you look closely!

I've had Paranoid playing on loop in my head all week for some reason. Maybe I should cover/remix that sometime. Black Sabbath is kind of the origin of heavy music as a concept, so I feel like I owe them some kind of homage.

A while ago, I played both versions back to back and weighed all the differences to decide which I liked more overall, and I did settle on 3DS. The QoL changes to that remake are a real game changer. The downsides are worth the convenience.

That being said, 3DS Gyorg can suck my poop

…I mean, completing it made me want to throw it the wall at times but it’s a fun little whimsical game.

Still thrilled that you liked it though. You're now the third close friend of mine to fall in love with this game within the past half a year or so and that's awesome. The Pac-Man World 2 love is spreading and I'm living for it!

Completing the original is hell.

Completing the remake is hell, but for a completely different reason. It's WAY harder. Post-game bosses are complete nonsense.

Yet, somehow, the original is still worse. EVERY pac-dot? Collectibles hidden in mines in a 15-minute autoscroller? That's evil.

The time trials in the remake are mega inconsistent. Some I beat first try with minutes to spare and several mistakes, others I played perfectly and went 30 seconds over due to what feels like RNG.

Some are among the hardest things I have ever done in any game. And I play F-Zero.

Nintendo would be idiots not to release Star Fox Assault on NSO right now, I've never wanted a new Star Fox more in my life and they could get every damn kid on earth with a Switch 2 interested in this series if they lock the fuck in

Underappreciated game IMO. Not the best, but it was a fun time. It's a shame that was the last we've seen of the series as of now, it feels like there were a lot of ideas there that could have been ironed out in a follow up to make something truly special
