Tiffin is a very pretty—but confusing (to me)—city. I moved just south of Tiffin in 1980 and was never able to find the Post Office, so I would drive to the P. O. in McCutchenville (sp?) to buy stamps. I now live in Port Clinton, but still occasionally drive to Tiffin.

We have noticed the same thing. Now my partner puts the 35mm negatives right on the scanner bed under a pane of cheap glass. She puts a couple of sheets of paper along the edges under the glass to raise it just a bit. Seems to help with sharpness.
