José Ramírez took Baltimore starter Taylor Rogers deep twice and Brayan Rocchio collected three hits with runners on base as the Guardians took three out of four from the Orioles with a 8-4 win Sunday at Progressive Field.
Bryan Rocchio delivered it, a three-run homer in the fifth inning that somehow eluded the swirling winds in right field to give the Guardians a 4-2 win over the Orioles on Saturday night at Progressive Field.
Staked to a four-run lead heading into the eighth inning Friday, the Guardians bullpen faltered late and endured a six-run outburst by Baltimore in a 6-4 loss to the Orioles at Progressive Field.
Parker Messick entered the ninth inning needing just three outs to end Cleveland’s 45-year, one-day no-hitter drought. He couldn’t finish it, but the Guardians still walked away with a 4–2 win over the Orioles.
The Cardinals scored three times in the sixth inning and Cleveland’s offense never recovered in a 5-3 loss Wednesday at Busch Stadium.

With his fielder’s choice grounder in the first inning Wednesday against St. Louis, Ramírez took over the club’s all-time lead in at-bats with 6,040, breaking a tie with Nap Lajoie, who compiled 6,039 at-bats in parts of 13 seasons from 1902 to 1914.

Cleveland infielder Terry “Cotton Top” Turner played 1,619 games for the city from 1904–1918, holding the record for most games played for 108 years. This Monday, José Ramírez will break his long-standing record, finally putting Turner back in the spotlight.
Tuesday's game will now start at 1:10 p.m. due to expected cold temperatures, the team announced Monday.
