i wish it got criticised normally because there are many actual issues with the dialogue and story worth talking about but all anyone can seem to point out is that they Reference Modern Things and nothing else

i think the main issue is the unnatural use of them but i see people shitting on it solely Because theyre using those words

ive seen a lot of hate towards like tadc as well but for the most part it's Wastelandia Specifically that gets singled out and gets people the angriest and meanest which is really uncalled for

for the record i dont think Any indie pilot should receive this level of hate because it just isn't constructive at all , but i genuinely believe wastelandia is nowhere near the worst example of more mainstream indie animation despite the amount of times it's unfairly used as The example

wastelandia being singled out in indie animation criticism is so weird because Yeah it has a lot of issues worth criticizing but the hatred ive seen for it (on twitter especially) is Venomous and there are countless other indie pilots with more prominent issues as well ?? its odd and confusing

Thats the thing i Enjoyed watching it and it was definitely the most hype episode yet but .. the more i think i about it the more i dislike almost everything they decided to do with caines character

caines characterisation here comes out of completely nowhere and kind of ruins the potential his character had , i couldn't take it seriously at all because it didnt feel earned to me .. plus they kinda do an ep 7 loredump again except Real and its such a lame way to tell the story imo

its pissing me off the more i think about it it might go lower😭
