Garfield is on his merry way to beat the crap out of him for no reason other than to feel something.

Nermal the Cutest Kitten In The Whole Wide World appears in their original retro look. They look up to an off-camera Garfield and confirms "actually I'm nonbinary", which is a neat thing I like to imagine is canon for the old comic and 90s animated versions. In a small panel following up on the side Nermal continues with a menacing stare and cute little smile, their hand over Garfield's back: "Go ahead motherfucker, make a quip with America watching." Garfield looks at us with tiny scared pupils sweating, knowing that if he responds to this news with his usual snarky disdain, he will rightfully be "canceled." Though Garfield is an irate billionaire, he has been put on a very tight leash by his PR team and is not ready to go down that dark path. Still, being a terrible human being and priding himself on being a "truth-teller" who believes "comedy should provoke", he weighs his options an unfortunately long time. Is this Nermal's simplest, yet most effective retaliation in their escalating sociopathic war? Only time will tell. But I'm happy for them. Even if they too are evil. Below there's a drawing of Harry the black alley cat from The Garfield Show (2008) in a style approximating the 80s comics, clarifying "Oh me? I'm from the bad show." Next to him is Squeak the Mouse walking and above him is Bob Boyle inspired take on The Buddy Bears from Garfield & Friends.

Garfield's mother is a big-eyed long-necked cat with large cheek fluff and a scruffy back, she gives a wry look at the camera. His grandfather is a shaky long-necked cat with scribbly stripes, small wrinkled eyes and a grouchy tired look. There are little whiskers and hairs all over him, with shakey motion lines around.

Classic Garfield character Irma the diner waitress absent-mindedly looks too the side in to talk to the cook while pouring Jon's coffee, causing her to miss and pour in Jon's lap causing him to scream. "YAAAAHHH" he screams, as his eyes bulge and his hair stands on end like little strings. Garfield sits by him not giving a singular shit. Irma is wearing a black diner dress, hairnet over her messy hair and has a pencil behind her ear. Remember Irma? I liked Irma. And mostly importantly Jon has now been punished for that tie in the previous post.

& Friends

Garfield leans with one leg over the other in a way his stubby little cat legs should not do, giving a smug triple-chinned look pointing somewhere in the direction of Arlene, who is laying down like a normal cat and is not impressed. The dialogue: Garfield: "Milady" Arlene: "The heck are you doing with your legs🎶 tubbo" (note, her teeth whistle because of the gap in her teeth, something from the older comics) G: "Sorry I didn't understand you under all that whistling" (note, Garfield is an ass) A: "Hearing failing you in your old age, huh" G: "You'd Relate" Like many of his kind, Garfield turns to insults to mask his insecurity and fragile ego. And fragile legs.

Continuing from the previous image, a close-up of Garf's smug face leaning on an invisible implied wall and Arlene looking back at him with a blank look of irritation. She has a single sweat drop on her forehead indicating her face is just an act and she's frozen in thought. About them are two thought clouds. Arlene thinks "Oh no he's hot" because as a jerk herself, she has found a kindred spirit in this hairy cat-shaped goldfish cracker man. There is nothing more romantic to the pink noodle than trading insults. Garfield thinks "Oh god, please leave before my knees give out." He has given up on romance, or even any further social interaction for the day, for he is now paying for his hubris in thinking his minuscule digitigrade legs could not only bend in a humanlike fashion but also bear the weight of the orb he calls a torso.

Jon looks in a mirror pointing and saying "Jon you handsome devil, you've done it again," complimenting himself on his fashion choice before a date. Garfield responds in his thoughts with "If you try to take one step out the door with that I am removing your legs." Jon wears a leisure suit and a big colorful tie with th--THE--the goddamn Annoying Orange? Jon. JON COME ON. You know what, I'm with Garfield, you are committing a crime.
