I work super late (10:40pm. sometimes later) and if i want to do something after work my options are a 24hr McDonald's, a "24 hr drive thru" Carl's Jr that closes at 2am, or bars. Bars tend to be very sensory-overwhelming for me

It really sucks. All of those types of places tend to be very loud, too. I wish cafes and libraries/bookshops stayed open late

Gods, i hate this fucking apartment. They're really out here charging $2k for a place with a kitchen with no counter space, an oven older than I am, and an extraction fan that leaks oil onto the backsplash

Depression took the simple daily ritual away from me, and now that i'm better and trying to get back into it, the kitchen layout sucks so badly now that it's hard for me to even access my coffee gear

(I had to move my coffee gear to make room for countertop appliances)

I used to make myself espresso daily and now I'm not even sure that i'm tamping properly
