also i'm not saying the original choreo was uninspired but... his marketing team owes so much to the 1999 ballet version

so glad someone is still jopping in 2025 youtu.be/wW_EfMiUcIE
be honest is there any way to curate a decent kpop feed on this app cause i hate being so out of the loop but... it seems like no one's here
Once more with the beautiful version of the cover :D
HELL FOR HIRE is free today! amzn.to/41jgd9D
ooh interesting. for all the time i spend on twitch, ig i haven't considered much about it as a โจplatformโจ (or ever watched any of the largest streamers lol)
150 pages into Water Moon and i've decided to dnf. the characters and romance feel bland and there's nothing i'm looking forward to, so i finally convinced myself to put it down in favor of something more exciting
yesss they're spoiling us with three books this year! (the third being a tie in novel/prequel for Ambessa from Arcane)
i mean they do all sound v interesting but maybe one at a time!!
have three separate nonfiction out from my libraries rn who do i think i am
to the person who just put the original hardcover of the will of the many up on pango for $8 i adore you
(soon one of my fandom friends is gonna read summer sons and i'm so excited bc they'll probably have similar reactions that i did to it. my sibling commented i dunno how i feel about andrew and sam together and i was like, you mean you don't ship anything that breathes?? inconceivable)
alllso i'm so lucky bc my siblings actually want to read my favorite books! i mean my sister and my younger sibling had totally different responses to summer sons and probably will to the space between worlds too but that's expected. the fact that they actually wanted to pick them up is so cool
and this is enough that i actually can cater to what they're looking for at the moment! which was something real world with more likeable characters and icarus is def the way to go
like in my head i've hardly read anything?? but i started going through the list like summer sons, the space between worlds, icarus, singing hills for a short mood break, privilege of the sword, don't let the forest in, metal from heaven, oh should i stop now?
one of my siblings asked for standalone queer recs i thought they'd like and the full list i came up with made me realize i do actually read books huh

stats and superlatives below
wow, those beyond the wall, the unspoken name, and mask of mirrors are all some of my favorites! and the grace of kings keeps looking at me from my shelf. seems like a solid month!
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, 2 of 153 achievements earned: Devoured by Darkness and Defender's Heart
two achievements in 17 hrs damn i'm so good at this. at this rate i only have two thousand one hundred fifty point five hours to go
me: obv we're playing as an immoral asshole! gotta have fun
also me: you can't just kill him! what if there's two lines of dialogue i miss??
why do i always start with an evil character for my first playthrough of an rpg and then struggle when i don't want to make choices allowing people to die/possibly locking me out of content. you'd think i would have learned by now...
just three books away from a full hardmode board now!
they said riley seems like an annoying idiot are we reading the same book??
got my sibling to read Summer Sons and they're dming me like wow there's not a single likeable character in this book is there?
and i'm sitting here thinking wait were there characters (aside from the bad guys) i was supposed to dislike??
and they're too good with the deals like oh wow that's 60% off i should buy it now and play it in... five years when it'll be retailing at two dollars
my gaming backlog is so hopeless i've given up on any pretense that i'll ever get around to playing half of those i purchase
i'm not letting myself add books to my physical tbr in excess of the books i've read or unhauled and you'll be happy to know this has had the unintended consequence of buying primarily books that i've already read but don't own
the other book I saw some reflections of was Those Beyond the Wall, but that's maybe a more personal pick. the queer community and revolutiony bits, mostly.
anyways, for once the comps are accurate, if you loved Gideon and Harrow, read this. get your fill of absurd aristocrats each holding three titles and five names, a magic system that makes you ooze from every orifice, general sapphic fuckery and assorted war crimes
