The College Affordability Crisis is Real, but the Media is Looking at the Wrong Schools Sturges Hall (Photo by Keith Walters ’11) Opinion By Costas Solomou, Vice President, Enrollment Management Published by the Office of Enrollment Management When Yale University released its Committee ...

"the colleges that dominate the headlines are not the colleges that most Americans attend

their core mission: to serve students from all backgrounds, at a price families can actually afford, prepare graduates for real careers and meaningful lives."

Our newest arrival today. I got a photo last night from locals and couldn't sleep all night.

This beautiful elderly lady was distraught after her dog had been targeted by humans. I think we'll get a good result.

I called her Maple and will bring the lady up tomorrow to the hospital to see her

This morning, I became the first New York City Mayor to visit Housing Court. And what I saw will stay with me for a long time. Families on the brink of losing their homes. Tenants navigating unsafe conditions, harassment, and uncertainty, searching for justice in an overwhelming system. Small property owners trying to keep up with their mortgage payments.
I met with Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas, New York City Administrative Judge Shahabuddeen Ally, and other members of the bench, and I walked through Resolution, HP, and NYCHA Parts. I spoke with people in intake, with legal service providers, and with the advocates who show up every day to stand beside New Yorkers who need support.
Housing court is where the promises we make about dignity, stability and public excellence are tested in real time.
In the months ahead, my team will work closely with the Chief Judge and the Chief
Administrative Judge to confront the concerns we heard - directly from judges, tenants, landlords, legal service providers, and advocates.

I'm not sure how you can be against removing this man from office right now. What will it take? A nuke being dropped? It's too late then. The purpose of impeachment and the 25th Amendment is to prevent that type of thing from happening, not just to react to it.

Completely agree. I personally became much more engaged in what was/is happening in Gaza and West Bank and Israel in general as a direct result of these protests.

U.S. Lawmakers Introduce Hind Rajab Accountability Bill (Exclusive) The Justice for Hind Rajab act, introduced by Senator Peter Welch and Representative Sara Jacobs, demands a U.S. investigation into the killing of the 5-year-old Palestinian girl whose story inspired ...

Tens of thousands of Palestinian children have been indiscriminately killed by the IDF in Gaza, including Hind Rajab.

I am co-leading legislation with Rep. Jacobs and Sen. Welch to investigate her killing and bring accountability for the countless war crimes the U.S. has been complicit in.

there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for

We've screamed on behalf of our neighbors.

The people in Iran might not live next door, but they're just as human as we are. We must scream and show up for them too, in whatever ways we are able.

State Department Bypasses Congress to Send Israel More Than 20,000 Bombs

Unconscionable.

Congress needs to aggressively reassert its authority. Stop this illegal war from becoming even more deadly. Now we know it was likely a U.S. bomb that caused mass casualties at the girls' school in Iran.

No more of our taxpayer dollars funding this savagery.
