I once met a woman from Peru who said “English women are such liars”! I was a bit taken aback but replied that were brought up not to show our emotions. So what one culture sees as being tactful and diplomatic, another sees as being deceptive!

I forget who said this, but “The problem with being a straight woman is that you have to date your only natural predator”!

This is real, on the I-Player 20/04/26, Breakfast News 6 minutes 20ish into the programme. This is enraging and hard to believe anyone thought this was impartial.

Why? Why deport them? They have another son. What’s he supposed to do? What about the parents of white psychopathic killers, do we deport them as well?

Blockades of pumps and roads will achieve nothing apart from making everyone hate farmers again.

Red diesel used by farmers is currently 120p/litre and I don't think they're going to get much sympathy frankly.

Yes there's an impending fertiliser crisis but how does blockading roads open Hormuz?

I know this type. I've seen them often enough. They revel in being obnoxious: but not towards the rich and powerful, to whom they fawn. Always towards the weaker and the poorer: towards people who don't have their privileges, such as access to private medical care. They think it's funny and daring.

Just as there were people who resisted the introduction of inside toilets, seatbelts, women’s votes, lead free toys etc Tice & his party are similarly reluctant to embrace what most people can clearly see is needed. Unimaginative, regressive, fact averse idiots.
Let’s never let them run our country.

My husband assembled some garden furniture today. Put the plastic cover back on the comfy sofa so next door’s cat wouldn’t sit on it. Cat wormed his way under the cover and sat on it anyway.
