i think a hill im willing to die on is that consoles shouldn't have rest modes purely so that both console makers themselves make better interfaces, and developers have to start making good main menus again

on firewatch's 10th anniversary i just want to say that the ending was good, actually, and that the anti-climactic quality is literally the point, it is a game about escaping from being kind of a crummy person and realising you need to face sad, boring reality
