That studded jacket is so killer!

Like strong protag energy in a survival horror vibe.

Yeah, it's been a lot. Bummed we had to rehome Mr. Bruce, but it was for the best. It honestly in hindsight isn't so bad, it's just the volume of bad news was a lot to process.

our orange tabby cat Tobi

our orange tabby cat Tobi

I don't think it's possible for this one. This picture was taken right after he loudly farted and he was staring at me like this for two minutes.

Like brother, you're the one who did it, fuck you judging ME for?!

(he was a rescue, the foster family said he was living in an engine block, lmao).

So excited for you both! Having done my fair share of moves, my advice would be to soak in the drive and make the most of it. If ya'll see something cool on the way up, don't be shy to stop for a second and check it out! You can make some awesome memories that way.

Good luck, get plenty of rest!

Our orange tabby is also named Tobias (We just call him Tobi for short), and he is also pretty timid/anxious.

Oh, apologies. I don't judge when it comes to peoples pets. Sometimes there are dietary reasons for certain animals. I totally understand, and I know that some snakes HAVE to eat live, while others can't.

Admittedly relieved you weren't serious, considering my current duck situation.

He is such a stink on those games that I wish the team could shake somehow.

Cause the games are awesome and fantastic, but every time he opens his mouth it's a dice roll on how much the property and the team are going to have to suffer for it.

Basically, Glen Schofield burn good graces any %.

My cat Louie who is also a void, makes that exact same "scowl" when he is really comfortable.

That's a step up!

Poultry Export Requirements for Ducks, Geese, and Eggs | Metzer Farms Find details on exporting live poultry and hatching eggs, including USDA health certificates, air freight procedures, and import requirements.

Checked for you, and they do ship to UK, however you'd probably be better suited to have hatching eggs as they would probably fair during transit better imo. Anyways, here's more info on that. Outside of that, you would probably have to inquire with local farms.

So, the main supplier for duck eggs/ducklings/poultry in general is metzerfarms. In fact, three of our ducks came from there, Bonnie being one of them.

If you're serious, you can go to their website and order some. Our ducks are pets, but I know many farms who go there for a variety of reasons.

-For Bruce, the home he got rehomed at sounds super lovely. Apparently her daughter is the primary duck raiser of their house, and she always wanted a male duck, as she only has females.

So she's tickled silly at the idea of getting to have ducklings now. I was worried he wouldn't find a home.

Thank you Sara! Normally I am pretty resilient with cascading snow ball levels of pile on bad news, but it all being laser focused on my ducks of all things really got to me.

Bonnie's doing good. She's pissed off, sure, cause she wants to be outside but, it's so nasty out. Foot needs to stay clean-

Lol, that was my bad, I forgot to add duck update to the beginning. I am so tired.

But yeah, no, just duck eggs. No sneks. We did find what we suspected were to be gecko eggs though, but I think the ravens got to them, only saw two.

Is this blooming off a shrub/hedge? Cause my gut is telling me this is the winter rose. Camela something. They are really awesome for the pollinators, and very hardy.

So cool to come across them out in nature. I haven't really seen any since we moved out east, but growing up in the south, I definitely came across them on occasion. They are always so chill.

You broke it down to a math problem?

I thought I was the only one who did that with RPG bosses lol! I always mentally work out how many hits a boss will take, and just count to that point. I basically ignore the health bar after a certain point, both theirs and mine.

-been all hands on deck. Hopefully, pending no other surprises, I can get back to work on my game and assets within the next day or two.

But I need to decompress for a little bit, so while things are calm for the day, I am just going to chill out.

Ya'll have a good one.

Duck update over. /๐Ÿงต

4 days ago 2 0 3 0

-incubated on the 4th of April. So they are estimated to be at around ~15 days. Basically a week behind Arizona.

So first couple weeks of May, everyone should be hatched.

That's all. No other updates from me, gamedev or otherwise, my focus has been on getting the ducks squared away, which has-

-Well, yeah. As I mentioned, we lost one. There are still 7. Arizona, the one I have been updating ya'll the most about, is very far along. She was incubated on the 30th of March, with an estimated age of about 20~ days. So in the next couple of weeks, she should hatch.

The others were-

-vet services and get that examined. Luckily, it went through her foot in such a way that it didn't hit the bone, or anything important. It does mean she is in the house on bed rest, listening to PBS and just chilling. We still don't know how she managed to pull that off. But she did.

As for eggs-
