Hi, I added the positioning data to the release outputs. Remember to tell the EMS which variant respectively components they have to place. There is a variant field in the BOM.

25 years ago, the GBA was released in Japan. Today, I've got a new design to show off :) I'm calling this design the "Game Boy Enhance," or the AGBM. (Thank you White from MGGC for the name suggestion)

New post on my blog: I built a joystick using a 2-layer PCB and some strain gauges. The #StrainStick works very similarly to a TrackPoint. There's also a small demo software that lets you use it as a mouse by connecting it to a CH32V203 dev board.

I wanted some mounting capabilities on my desk, so I added a SKÅDIS to the side. I used a 36×56 cm panel, which I cut in half. Maybe this is useful for others. You can find the printed parts at:

I did another take on SMD storage containers and added wire storage. Fully 3D‑printable and customizable, you only need an aditional spring per container. There’s even a mount for IKEA Skådis ;)

You should be able to source everything from lcsc.com. Have a look at the alternative parts in the BOM if something isn't available.
UPDATE: The Open DMG Display now supports all 32 game-specific Super Game Boy palettes, as well as the 45 Game Boy Color palettes.

Turning a low-cost CH32V305 MCU into a Game Boy Advance (and Color) USB capture device, with no extra circuitry required.
Captures full-res at ~60 Hz and streams it over UVC. A fun look at combining basic peripherals to extend the capabilities of a simple MCU.

A series of four prints in wooden frames (natural oak) hung in a 2x2 arrangement on a white wall. The prints show lines twisted around each other in different colors, running horizontally and vertically. Some lines are short, some are long. Some lines wind around themselves, some have multiple ends. The prints were created using 1x1 building blocks, resulting in a kind of grid of circles, squares, and rounded squares. The two lower prints feature color gradients within the lines.
This week, I finally found the time to hang up my Brickpress prints. I’m still amazed by the way thoughts are portrayed and by the craftsmanship of the execution. Thank you very much, @guido-kuehn.bsky.social .

I would really like to see that. I sometimes try the more affordable tools in order to compare them to the more expensive stuff I normally use (Tweezers, consumables, cheap soldering equipment etc.), but I only wrote about this once: www.embedded-ideas.de/posts/250407...
Those tweezer probes are useless imho. I don't know how the spring loaded probes perform on an LCR meter but they are my daily driver on the multimeter. At least for the R they are very reliable.
Nice choice. I love writing stuff in markdown. It is much less distracting and much more portable as e.g. WordPress. I use Hugo which is somehow similar. Might change to ghost if the fediverse integration becomes a thing.
I miss the old internet. What do you use for setting up the blog?
