I haven't posted anything in some time (life just gets busy I guess). This is a board I recently made for a local small business that makes amazing bread. If you happen to be in the OKC area you should check them out on Facebook. Simply Made is simply amazing!

An oversized Ouija planchette. A unique request but I like the unique ones.

It's all my wife's fault she comes up with new ideas and points me in a direction.

They're burnt on the wood with burn paste and a heat gun. My wife makes the stencil with a cricket machine.

Walnut and padauk cutting/serving board.

Tacos are a big deal at my house. This was a personal project. Toss the toppings on this and just set them out for people to build their own.

Is that dice holder made of padauk? I love the grain pattern in it.

Thank you! I originally made one for my mother-in-law then started selling a few here and there. They're quite handy.

Just an idea for all the creative types out there. With Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa coming up we can all use these.

These are great. There is nothing I hate more than wasting good wood just because it was an off cut.

This is just a simple catch all box. It's made from some old red wood pieces I had laying around for about 15 years.

I mean she really works the place over looking for the right pieces. It's her favorite wood.

I loved the "it wouldn't be fair because not all stadiums have it". So it's fair to not overturn a bad call?

Very nice. To me the grain and color change gives it all the character

Haha all credit on the poplar selection goes to my wife. She will literally set down and sort an entire stack of it just to find the "good" pieces.

Everybody's made at least one at some point. The one the only charcuterie board. I do love the look of the wood on the side of the board though.

That was my thought as well. I like Jenkins but as Ken would say the best ability is availability.

How much of this offensive line do you think gets blown up next year? I assume I figure Wright is the only returning starter that's locked in.

I'm still unsure what I should do for the coloring/stain. I've thought about doing a poly coat with a Mica powder mixed in for some color.

Pine tea candle holder with padauk feet. Slotted sides allow for light to pass through when using glass candle holders.
