New discovery for me was that money has to pass a certain threshold to become capital, a master into a capitalist. Commodities don’t automatically equal capitalism in itself. Capital is the accumulation of unpaid labour.

Hoxha’s analysis of US-imperialism is sharp. On chinese & soviet social-imperialism however, falls short. 1st part is the only necessary part to read.

Libya had Revolutionary Committees and a “Leader & Guide of the Revolution” post so I assume they realised that leadership is necessary in leading the people towards emancipation.

I was trying to say the structure of ‘People’s Committees’ were similar if not identical to democratic centralism.
I do think “authority of the people” is close to marxist “people’s democracy.”
The problem is the lack of revolutionary leadership mentioned, but in practice,

I think it’s overall a great book. Especially part 1 & 2.
