Joe Kernen wraps up the interview with Trump after 40 minutes: "We could talk NATO, but I know you've, uh, obviously got a lot to do"

there's a scenario here where the combined debt from the Paramount and Warner Brothers deal and Larry Ellison's over-extension into AI form a sort of voltron of financial disembowelment. wouldn't that be nice.
hey, Patel is hard at work looking for Nancy Guthrie! (Imagine for a moment that a Democratic FBI director was partying in Milan with the men's hockey team. Jim Jordan would blow a gasket.)

Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.
There's just gotta be a line somewhere.
Thank you @pablo.show for letting me talk so openly about this.
New in PN: Speaker Johnson's beginning of the end
"Johnson has such a small majority he can’t afford to alienate anybody, & he has nonetheless managed to alienate everybody. The coming months will be brutal for him & are likely to end w/his speakership destroyed in a humiliating, titanic blue wave"
Honestly thought he switched years ago
Welp

I noted the day of the SCOTUS decision that JB Pritzker IMMEDIATELY moved to make this point, by demanding a refund for IL. And State refunds may be the best way to politicize how Trump created the worst of all worlds. But Elizabeth Warren is, predictably, focused on it as well.

Thanks
You’re not wrong and your ideas would be implemented in a world truly committed to free and open markets.
It's a silly argument. I really don't give a damn how we add up inequality between pre-distribution and redistribution. We can structure the economy to generate much less pre-distribution inequality. Why wouldn't progressives want to do that?
But that was a lie. Government-granted patent and copyright monopolies are not efficient. A bloated financial system is not efficient. Non-compete labor contracts are not efficient. The people pushing that line lied to make the rich richer.

it is frustrating not to be even get a debate on these issues. Maybe I'm all wrong and some wise one could take ten minutes and bat these ideas down, but no one has.
Taxing the rich after we gave them the money is fine, but it's better not to give it to them in the first place.
Capital isn't ready, in the sense that the rich don't want to give up their money, but the rest of us need to start getting ready. And the first step there is recognizing that we can structure the system differently, like shorter/weaker patents and copyrights and downsizing finance.
The amount of inequality created by capitalism depends on how we structure it cepr.net/publications...
Nope you got it, that's exactly what's happening. 21st century farmers are overwhelmingly people with a well-paying day job or retirement income that supports the farm.
same here
I don’t get it. I honestly don’t

Palestinian children in the West Bank were prevented from going to school by Israeli security forces who closed a road in the middle of the night and set up razor wire.
The children tried to cross through the razor wire and were reportedly tear-gassed.
