This is a rad idea -- good luck! I've seen playtests shared via google doc, but only via carefully versioned snapshots.

Hey, good to hear from you Peter! Alright, you talked me into it.
I am genuinely excited about the course proposal I'm working on -- so much so that I might talk myself out of submitting it out of self-consciousness. Ah well!

definitely a promotional tie-in for the next "unsleeping city"
EOH is always great fun, but it was *especially* always great fun *this* year.
Do you think it's real? Is there any chance this is a bit?
I confess I tried reading the first of those books and it didn't quite click for me.
It took me a while to get myself into the right mindset, but once it clicked I gotta say, @brendanlasalle.bsky.social , this is a heck of a game system and I can't wait for more.
Played my first game of XCC yesterday. My first character was Mitchell, based on Joe Don Baker from the 1975 Joe Don Baker movie Mitchell. He, uh, died during the first round of combat, but he did manage to snag nine cheese and mayo sandwiches from the Green Room before entering the arena.
Over the moon that I managed to get tickets for all four events I had my heart set on for #DungeonCon. Super excited, @goodmangames.bsky.social . This'll be my first gaming con and I am pretty darn excited. I'll be doing XCC, Purple Planet, DCC and C(omic)CC. Wooooooo!
It blows my mind that the guy who rocked my world with ZZT(-OOP) is the same guy that posts stuff like this.
Congratulations!
(A student I work with has pointed out that I do bring up the fact that I am not a speedrunner of the NES game "Punch-Out!!" pretty often for someone who is in fact not a speedrunner of the NES game "Punch-Out!!" so I guess take that for what you will)
This video from @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social is pretty cool and also I got another email two days ago from someone thinking I'm a "Punch-Out!!" speed runner.

I only ever had Pablo Honey and loved it, and then much to my great shame never got in to The Bends or OKC. I still think about "Anyone Can Play Guitar" far too often.
(PS I reread The Hike last week and--big fucking surprise--it still rocks)
As someone susceptible to magic-bean-thinking I often try to reassure myself that they ended up being a remarkably good investment for Jack.
"viewpoint diversity"
Reading your writing has been convincing to me that advocacy for remedies should not be sidestepped due to cynicism. Thank you.
is he wearing a custom-fit edgar suit
It is a JOY to work hard alongside people you respect, in service of a goal that matters in the world. There are few things better than being tired at the end of a long day, next to people you trust to keep pushing with you towards a result you truly care about.
Now that I can finally call Rosewater an award-winning game (along with multiple nominations) perhaps it’s a good excuse to check it out if you’ve been putting it off, or never heard of it?

I assert that the Oregon Trail Generation is the exact fit for this
we spent so much time talking about this at my house last night and I cannot wait to bring this update to the dinner table tonight
The two April Fool jokes I saw today were cute and kind of clever and they did make me smile, and I kind of needed it.

I don't see this said enough: the widespread use of generative AI is not only making our jobs as educators harder logistically, but also emotionally. It is genuinely sad to be suspicious of students when you have spent so much time building a pedagogy based on trust and not being a cop. It sucks.
