Man did I just have a good chicken sandwhich, havarti cheese. Some Swiss & Habenero cheddar, good ripe tomatoes & bakery sub rolls. I know a good sandwich isn't an earth shattering event, but a good sandwich is a very satisfying thing.

I'm glad they didn't end up making that. I would have had to throw my Instant Pot out the window. That they even considered it is disturbing.The funniest thing about it was when the Trump corporation find out about it they threatened to sue them for using the Trump name.
I couldn't love my instant pot more. Seriously I have about it & cook with it, at least 3 or more times a week. But some things need to be cooked slowly, yes, you could cook it fast, but that doesn't mean you should. This dish looks like one of those things.
Sounds like your kid has a great palate. I used to have to bargain & brg & plead & bribe my kid to eat anything that wasn't deep fried & crispy or from McDonald's.. it was a lot, and seriously i mean A LOT of aggravation. Of course she grew up to be a chef.
I love my instant pot, it completely changed the way I cook and my relationship with food & has allowed me to expand my repertoire of recipes by a lot. I still cook in my oven & on my range, but the number of recipes that have been able to stop cooking "the long way" is impressive

Being into cats feels so debasing. You give everything over to this animal — time, labor, money — but when you want them to sit next to you, they refuse and jump away. When they finally sit on your lap, you sit motionless to the point of physical pain, afraid to disturb them. Humiliating.

I feel horrible. I have an intestinal infection. A virus thats making me feel worse than when I had covid, my legs are swollen & somehow I badly sprained my ankle, and k habr no idea how it happened, but I can't walk without a cane and not very far even with one..blech!!

People don't seem to know about the value of cold pressed oil that isn't chemically extracted. My neighbor was throwing out a bottle of good EVOO. it's $23 in the store. I use seed oil, but after I saw this video I started using cold pressed oil if I can

In the last 2 weeks I've had leftovers from a batch of Cream of Cheddar Broccoli soup, each person I've fed the leftovers has asked me for their own batch . I ended up making 9 quarts before I finally put an end to it. Great way to meet my new neighbors, but I'm glad to be cooking something else.
I cry way too easy these days. Oddly never about the thing you'd think I'd cry about. I can't cry about the things I really would like to have a good cry over. It's frustrating. Anyway his made me cry.
