@tialevingswriter.bsky.social explores the hard but necessary work of rebuilding life after high control religion—learning to set boundaries, trusting yourself, and healing without jumping into another rigid system.

Well. well, well - What is it good for?
Give peace a chance - Understanding the cruelty behind Christian fractions and child abuse mentality among the Epstein friends - Make them scared!

I just read this book by @tialevingswriter.bsky.social It's a survivor's tale. We often don't know what we don't know, and that's how I'd describe my ignorance of US Christian fundamentalism. This is hegseth's creed, and others like him. Women crushed and erased in the 21st century. Believe it.
There’s a ton of breaking news today so this is subject to change, but there’s some heavy hitting trad wife reality checking coming on CNN between 10 and noon EST, and an important special on Christian Nationalism Sunday at 8pm EST.
I’m angry about that vote, too.
But saying “I hate democrats” or “I hate the democratic party” feels like a Republican move. It at least feels like it’s playing into their hands.
About that NYT op-ed title…
“You don’t look balanced. You look like beta men who swallowed a fat red pill and washed it down with wine to earn the patriarch’s favor. The “pick me” energy is exhausting.”
A haunted house but…
It’s just never ending therapy appointments to talk about trauma with CBT. Evermore.
Wow, the chaotic loss of boundaries, the danger of bots. No, thank you!
“The sooner we spend our energy thinking about what to do next, the sooner that day will come.”
A hopeful, envigorating, thoughtful take on a post-Trumpian world. Very clickworthy.

The news is so bad this week.
Which means the shutdown stress to prevent the Epstein vote must be really weighing on them.
This was such a rich conversation. If you’re confused by Christian Nationalism, Anthony and I pretty much covered it all, especially how Christianity differs from Christian Nationalism, and what is the goal.
Cult survivor recovery tip: make plans for 9/21. When cultists mix high emotion with collective effervescence and performance, the energy is volatile and intense as it will seem from the outside that they have more power and influence than they actually do. Safe alternatives and self-care are a must
“CNN also noted that in Wilson’s “vision of a Christian society, women shouldn’t be allowed to vote.” Instead, the husband’s vote should be for the entire “household.”

@tialevingswriter.bsky.social This was a hard book for me. Saw many comparisons to my marriage. I highly recommend it to help people understand how some conservative Christians think. Thank you.
Join us for our next discussion meeting to talk about "A Well Trained Wife" by @tialevingswriter.bsky.social and the effects of Fundamental Christian beliefs on our political landscape. Religion should be separate from politics, but we will be discussing the insidious ways which it's not.
This is cool! Thank you!
What if everyone starts posting headlines outside of churches, or mailing postcards with photos of the yatzee salutes?
I encourage you to research the “7 Mountains Mandate.” This is a movement that believes Christians should own the following spheres of influence on our country: family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment, business, and government.
“Trump is acting like a king because he’s too weak to govern like a President.”
—Ezra Klein

I keep thinking about all those studious fundamentalist homeschoolers who studied government and memorized key documents about how our system works.
And about how Vought and Johnson must be having hemorrhoids trying to tolerate Elon Musk.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Trump isn’t in control of Musk. He won’t stop him because he can’t. The right thinks he’s daddy-god and the left calls him a king, but he’s neither. Even the Christian fundamentalists have no power over the man with the money.
