For instance you'd get priority before opp attackers or if your opp casts something but not at unusual phases like your opp's upkeep or in response to your own spells.

Should be easy to implement since it's just the current default behavior but treating it like you have some 0 cost ability.

@mtggoldfish.com #mtgfishmail Do you think priority tells are a problem on mtga? Default behavior gives too much information away while full control is too cumbersome. Do you think an in-between mode where the game pretends you have instant speed interaction would be good for arena?

So in particular you don't get priority at every single phase, just when your opponent does something

Watching the #MTGA Arena Open it's clear we need a better system for managing priority in a competitive environment.

My vote is for a "response" priority mode. It should function the same as the default "auto-pass" mode where you always have interaction.

Feeling a lot of anger, sadness. The world has become immeasurably more dangerous.

If solving a problem means being able to take direct input and produce the correct output then the set is problems that can be solved by our current LLMs is quite small since they only use linear time. Being able to write algorithms is where they are much more promising.

My biggest pet peeve is unnecessary list comprehensions like

```python
if any([f(x) for x in items]):
...
```
