I'm certain it's not my imagination that over the past year or so I've heard substantially more planes and copters passing by that are not tracked at all by ADS-B--that is, their transponders are deliberately off. Military training is allowed to do that, but I wonder how much of it is actually that.

I feel distant from a lot of things but I'm trying a trick which is to mentally turn the distance itself into an object that is necessarily close and that helps I think.
