The rain hasn't stopped us from getting out to Flat Rock to keep planting our fruit orchard. This weekend, we added some blueberries, blackberries, and 7 pawpaw fruit trees. Please enjoy a few pics of our happy saplings, and the sheer beauty of Flat Rock.

This includes any medical, psychological, or social interventions aimed at affirming a gender identity different from the child's sex assigned at birth. Legal Consequences: Individuals who engage in or facilitate social transitioning or gender-affirming care for minors will face civil penalties. The liability includes: 1. Statutory damages of at least $10,000 per defendant 2. Punitive damages of at least $10,000,000 per defendant 3. Other costs, fees, and damages. There will be a 20-year statute of limitations so individuals that have been harmed will have the ability to seek retribution once they become an adult. Additionally, healthcare professionals and educators involved in these practices risk the loss of their professional licenses.

Stop thinking that we're protected by constitutional laws. That stuff gets changed all the time. The legal pathologizing of normal things has happened before, such as being a lesbian or interracial couple or artist or academic, literally anything they want to eliminate.

And if you can't find in person classes in your area for these, start with the online courses. They can not replace hands-on training, but it's better than no knowledge at all. Allies: this is your time to get that training and pass on the knowledge to those who can't attend....

Don't skip out getting training in medical crisis response, CPR, rescue breathing, and Stop The Bleed. Get a trauma kit with a good tourniquet or two. Even if you never touch a gun, you need to know how to patch holes and stab wounds, etc. Even just for on the job injuries...

I will add to this that if you don't feel safe or comfortable keeping one in your home, you don't have to! A friend can keep it, or just your pins. But don't wait until it's too late and the modern day Brown Shirt vigilantes are the only ones armed. Furthermore.....

Been a rough couple of days. My sweet baby boy Gomez has been inseparable from me since a day or two before I had symptoms. I think he could tell something was wrong. This is why I wear my seat belt. He'd never understand why I didn't come home.

The horrors affecting trans people aren't "trans issues" that need sympathy from cis people. These are cis issues caused by cis people, and cis people need to step up and fix it. Help create alternative structures for trans needs for safety, medical care, travel/escape funds, etc. Yes, you.

And while "big tent orgs" aren't my thing, when it comes to affinity groups or mutual aid groups, I've worked successfully with (and been friends with) all flavors of radicals. It's just the formal orgs need to have stricter membership criteria & a collective "means-end unity."🧵

Your friends don't need to be your comrades and your comrades don't need to be your friends. You need to be ideologically aligned to the Points Of Unity and goals, and have a robust accountability and conflict resolution process/guideline. Those two keep orgs together. 🧵

"Tax the rich" will never work. The tax codes are written by the rich. They aren't "not paying taxes." Did you know that debt, nonliquid assets, and ROI payouts from bonds are untaxable, and the wealthy keep all their wealth tied up in these? It's called "cash poor" and it's a tax dodge.
