We report: spring night sky in the Northern Hemisphere. Venus vanishes behind the horizon soon after sunset, Jupiter remains for a bit. When it gets dark, before midnight, we see Procyon and Capella, Castor and Pollux, Sirius, Betelgeuse and Aldebaran (our favourite neighbours).

We report: lately, there is a lot of pink in the sky. It is the last bright colour we see in the evening, and the first one we see in the morning. It rains over it, today - not much, but it washes the pink off, and we watch it flow down the drains. It leaves a chill in the air.

We report: this time, we were there as the mammatus were forming, instead of catching them as they were melting back into the sky. It was a single ripple that first caught our eye, and then we watched the clouds carve themselves into the pattern. We started feeling really small.

This may affect elections at every stage at which there's a mail deadline.
An underplayed one: VOTER REGISTRATION.
Many voters who send in their registration forms by mail could be postmarked late, missing out without realizing it.

Both are pure silk, and neither will ever be released again.

We report: our expert has been complaining of a pebble in their shoe for a bit; they take a moment to sort it out when the rain lets up. As we look up, the clouds are moving to the same pace as our breathing, travelling from one end of the sky to the other in great strides.

We report under lively skies: the atmospheric pressure forecast maps looked strange this morning. There were high-pressure areas stuck between low-pressure areas, and the patterns of diverging winds that emerged made little sense to us. The resulting weather is adequately odd.

We report: when we come here, we know it will be much windier than everywhere else, and in the winter, the ocean wind is always harsh. It gets in our ears and rearranges every thought and memory we have ever had, until we too feel like wind and water. This is why we come here.
