Car Share happened like that. When the creator’s imagination is free to create, magic can happen easily.
I think that’s why they struggled and only wrote 4 episodes for the second series. The actors made it without the creator. Much easier when it’s your baby.

With the beard I’ve been told I’ve got a touch of the Gary Glitters. Shave it off and I’ll end up all Greg Wallace. It’s tough being a middle class man of a certain age.
Maybe because middle class women of a certain age are in a position to call out this shit without fear of losing a salary they need. And can do it on behalf of young women starting out in their careers who are just as sick of this shit but can’t say anything because they need to earn a living.
