If you're looking for a nice way to make quick placeholder art, my favorite method is to take public domain images (or my boyfriend), posterize them in Photoshop, and then change the color mode to index with a color palette from lospec

you start making a game on a whim in your living room and a couple of years later the vinyl soundtrack is sitting on display in a Japanese record store. crazy

6th out of 200 for graphics! This is a trend for game jams that I tend to focus more on the art side rather than the gameplay, mostly because I'm learning how to program.

My next jams I'm going to focus more on gameplay (hopefully) lol.

A character illustration I did for Legends of Terra Firma (still in development, I'll post more news of the game when I'll have some)

My itch profile is interesting because I have a side of me that wants to make bright silly games and another side that wants to make games about body snatchers in 1800s Edinburgh.
