That's why I would like to find a way for a balanced result. I personally don't really like having alts and bts alongside final work, to me they ruin the initial feeling artwork gave. But I do agree, that losing rendering details feels like tragedy and at least it can be appreciated through an alt.

I had to remove all of the strings and people at the back manually, so they wouldn't show on the degraded picture. It took awhile.. XD But the way that changed it to a more uncanny valley and anomaly type of vibe is just muah, perfect 😁

That was the intention, yes ❤️ I am so sad the compression ate away too much. But that's why I tend to save original files, maybe I will think of another way to edit this composition someday, I dunno.

Ye~ These umbrellas created such a cozy alleway, partially recoloring all the shadows as well, the photo doesn't do it justice, to be honest. In a place full of sounds and people - it was really comfy to just sit there and contemplate it.

For those, who might wanna appreciate the original photo. It was haunting me for years ever since I took it, I love it so much despite ruining it with tilt. Editing and degrading enhanced its uncanny effect.
Have uncompressed Caine as a bonus. I'll stop here for now.

I only drew in Caine and did some of the editing. The original photo was already very haunting, as well as Hiyameshi Retro Pack did all the heavy lifting in degrating picture to an old VHS style.
My goal was to try and render in character in already existing Liminal Space photos.

‪If you delete Memories of him - it means he was never important to even bother remembering Him. And that hurts so much more. ‬

His incapability to understand and sympathize is what subcousciously could have pushed 'em away. Not to mention him being in a position of power. It's intimidating, even though he never acted malicious.

Basically they sensed him being inhuman and they prioritized own grief over connection with him.

He does need a buddy. And a vacation 😭 The fact no human really hanged out with him for 20 years or so

It's just something I have no clue where to approach from, I have difficulties with the design as a whole, hated Graphic Design lessons with all my guts, so try to compensate with everything else. I just love wild imagination some people have, it's always interesting to witness :)
