KILN: Only Double Fine could come up with a pottery-based multiplayer brawler. It's silly, fun, and inspired. I can see this being a big party game.

JAY AND SILENT BOB: CHRONIC BLUNT PUNCH: If this had come out in 1998 it would've been my favorite game. It's a pretty paint-by-numbers side-scrolling arcade beat-em-up, but the former NJ mallrat teenage dirtbag in me got a kick out of the silly humor and View Askewniverse Easter eggs.

ITSYREALM: This 2.5D RPG is so charming thanks in no small part to its distinct art style. It will take more time to master than a PAX demo could provide, but I was impressed by the funny dialogue and the depth of the combat, despite its simplistic look. store.steampowered.com/app/1662510/...

GRAVE SEASONS: Do you like to curl up with cozy games and then read up on serial killers and unexplained disappearances? So do I, which is why I'm obsessed with this true crime farm sim from Blumhouse Games. I first played it at SGF '25 and the new PAX demo confirmed it's coming along well!

Now that I'm back on west coast time and recovering from PAX, I want to talk about some of the cool things I saw there! (BTW: You can hear about all of this in more detail on @officialsdgc.bsky.social this week!)
