Well, she's friends with Taylor Swift and looks like her. Anyone who can be friends with Taylor Swift is on the same boat. Anyone who stans them is also on the same boat of what I've already stated.

Oh, you're a Swiftie, everything makes sense now. Logic and empathy aren't Swifties' strong suits, nor is the ability to understand words.

The difference between you and me is that I believe anyone can change if they put their mind to it. The key point is that if they put their mind to it. I also wish death on no one, but I also won't mourn his death.

I never defended him or his actions. If he gets off drugs and is still a racist, misogynistic jerk, my criticism of him remains that he's not a good person. The drugs, the racism, and the misogyny all have to end for him to qualify as a good person in my books.

I used to be a behavioral health tech. My whole job was to get people off drugs and get them to turn their lives around. Humans are humans, no matter what they look like. I had people from multiple different races. Also, my relationship with my fiance is going well, thank you for asking.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but yes. Do keep in mind, I said if, and in another comment, I even mentioned I wouldn't hold my breath on it. If someone's willing to turn their life around and do good with it, I encourage it.

You could be the most moral person in existence, but your opponent is good at using tactics and deceit. The result is that the public will hate you.

You have literally not named a single figure that hasn't fought dirty in order to do some good in the world. Why? Because they don't exist in positions of power. You can't change the world for the better without getting your hands dirty. That's life.

Yep, but I also genuinely believe that as long as someone is alive, they always have a chance to turn their life around. Not to mention, he has the social reach to advocate for change and potentially save many more lives than he's harmed if he changes his ways.

All the Pope said really was that war is bad. The reason why these people are mad is that it ruined their hopes of painting this as a divine holy war.

If Clavicular survives, I hope he turns his life around and advocates against the use of illegal substances. That being said, I do want to remind people that he's an adult and made his own choices, and has killed an untold number of people with his advice to use illegal substances to look better.

I still think it should be noted that people followed his advice. He's had an untold number of people killed by advocating that they use illegal drugs. If he does survive this, hopefully, he turns his life around and goes around advocating for people to be clean, but I'm not holding my breath.

He advocates for the use of illegal substances for people to look better, killing an untold number of people who, unfortunately, listened to his advice. Not to mention he's racist and misogynistic on top of that.

Mandela also didn't stop and sometimes chose not to condemn the actions of the ANC against other black organizations, specifically the Inkatha Freedom Party. Not sure these two are the best examples for what you're arguing.

Ghandi held views that treated Indians as superior to Black Africans. He also used racial slurs. He told women to be responsible for sexual assaults against them. Mandela held close friendships with dictators, he shielded his second wife from prosecution, he grabbed his first wife by the throat.

In the end, the choice is up to what the voter thinks is the lesser evil. Smart voters will vote based on benefits or their views on issues; the less smart will vote based on their emotions.

Politics has never been nor will ever be a game of truth. It's a game of manipulation, that's the unfortunate reality of what makes up politics. The game is figuring out how to get people to buy your lie or exaggeration as the truth. The more emotional you keep them, the easier the control.

False, what defeats lies is how you act. If your opponent is acting crazy, act sane. However, you can never be passive in the face of a hostile takeover; that's how you lose a democracy. Neither party defeats the other with the truth; anyone who thinks so is naive.

Well, yeah, they couldn't tell us even if they wanted to now, the rest was set on fire ๐Ÿคฃ, never forget there's always been an unregulated "secret" police, and it's not ICE. ICE is just the current dictator in chief's favorite.

It's possible but unlikely, he was part of the establishment and even gave tax cuts to the rich. It's possible the mafia was more deeply connected to the rich than was known, but unlikely.

I personally disdain and don't use lies and/or propaganda, but I also see where it's necessary when you want to get action.

The unfortunate reality is that lies sway the masses more than the truth does. Look at MAGA.

This is also why it's important for people to be able to figure this stuff out themselves. It's a tool all political parties use, and/or nations. The unfortunate truth is that you can't win by being virtuous. Life isn't a fairytale.

We didn't even ever get the full release of the JFK assassination files, and that didn't even touch politicians and billionaires.

Welcome to propaganda, something doesn't have to be true in order for it to be effective. The unfortunate reality of the Epstein files is that they won't release everything and admit people's guilt until they're dead. Doesn't matter which party is in charge.

Sure, there is, but it's a meme. It's not technically required to be true, i.e., it just basically calls him a pedophile. The meme doesn't even claim that the image is real.

Joel Webbon on X: "I genuinely believe Trump is currently demon possessed." / X I genuinely believe Trump is currently demon possessed.

You know, some MAGA turning on Donald Trump because they think he's demon possessed was not on my bingo cards. Anyway, someone should also tell them that ICE is demon possessed, maybe they'll get rid of it.

Seeing oil prices go up and down from lies about how the Iran war is going is ridiculous. At this point, we should not trust them anytime they say they're in talks or having a ceasefire with Iran. Especially as Israel will break anything that will end the war.

Religion is rarely the cause of war, especially in the past 100 years. It's just one of many reasons people will use to justify war, even if the religion itself generally advocates against war. Humans use just about everything to justify war.
