I knew it. Grok/FSD gonna run ATC. No doubt the system will, like FSD, not take any liability on, and expect a real person to be ready to take over immediately at all times

Just wondering how crazy MAGA will go if an actual born in east Africa Muslim guy becomes President…

Ok basics are covered then. I don’t use the trip plan much either - just the list of chargers on route once I’ve put in a destination, or nearest charger (though I can’t wait till 20% to precondition in winter!)

Can you precondition them manually? Useless in winter here otherwise for out of town trips.

Is this still a thing across all Toyota/Subaru lines (no trip planning)? Wow. CCNC is basic at it... but basic is basically all you need esp w/ preconditioning available through that and manual.

Today's ignorant naysayers claim "that'd never work here!" when in fact it once did before it was intentionally dismantled for the benefit of the auto industry.

Hmm. Tried to get a quote on my MY 2019 Urban Arrow (purchased 2020) - they suggest calling as they don't typically cover 6+ year old bikes. Wow. Didn't think my UA would be "retro" so soon

The better idea is like certain VW models where the camera retracts when not in use but... This will be great if the battery life / reservoir capacity is useful + button/Bluetooth remote works reliably.

It was on the 6 St NE descent heading north to @bikebikeyyc.bsky.social ;)

I mean, I'm not at all recommending one *should* try to go 55 or faster on a UA. Will get my "Max speed" number off my less-connected more-retro Bosch unit once I'm home.

On visits, kitty was super cuddly including with 8 and 4 who are happy (though not jumping for joy as we'd expected). I've never had a pet period - my wife has had several, but been a while. Super excited! Got basic supplies from Paws (by Westbrook Mall) last night. 2/

C minus 2 days, folks. Advance warning now - like all things Internet, this feed will fill up, for the first time ever, with cat content. Trialing our first ever pet - a former house cat being re-homed from an unsuccessful (inter-kitty warfare) barn cat stint at a relative's Ft Sask horse ranch. 1/

Lens Lizard Lens Lizard Backup Camera Cleaner

Oh man - I just pre-ordered this for the SUV: lenslizard.com
But more realistically, if you drive a vehicle that has 0 rear visibility... You better be sure your camera is clean *every time*! Holy f#%k. "My gun scope was dirty" wouldn't fly.. W.T.F.

I will not talk about my max. In city. On the UA. ;) With the headset dampener I’ve got it’s quite fast / stable if you get smooth car free pavement

Wild West indeed - just watch bad drivers YYC videos on Reddit or YT. Red lights don’t mean anything, forget Stop signs and other things

HV battery health report at 26k km / 18 mos on the EV9: State of Health, 100%. Only 21 DC fast charging sessions; 372 AC charging cycles. Interesting readout.

Sorry folks, I picked up not one but 2 clean cars with summer tires today, so the weather will now collectively punish half of Alberta

this is a microcosm of the world as conservatives want it, where “merit” means an unrestricted good ol’ boys club

Drive thru pharmacies don’t exist in most of the world so I’m having difficulty seeing why they’re necessary. I live in a pretty car oriented city and we have none I’m aware of. Not a common thing anywhere in Canada at least that I know of

Not panniers per se but summers
I run the Tern Cargo Hold basket/pannier things on the long tail. Pair of Axiom panniers with rain covers for the bakfiets but they aren’t in use much given the box

Yep. And it’s probably marketed as an “ebike”

And then we’ll get a Dan McLean / Devin Dreeshen special full “ebike” ban

On the UA it's nearly a necessity and I'm continually tempted to get BikeBike to install the 2nd battery holder. I'm frequently managing trips and carrying a charger. GSD it's a luxury for 3-digit range, but happy it comes pre-wired for it.

Energy hog. Most of us get by with 0.5 kWh e-bike batteries ;)
