Trump, depressingly, is inescapable, as he dominates - and, metaphorically, pees on - everything, it seems. He is toxic & I wish I could just shut him out (& up), but that is impossible.
My husband recently wrote this piece & I wanted to share it on his behalf since he is no longer on social media.
Being by the ocean is where I feel most "me." I SO wish I was there now. (Oh, to be this little mouse.)
Pensive or day-dreaming are both excellent interpretations, I think! In my head, I imagine him as a bit melancholy, wistful, and dreaming of new adventure possibilities that I will never have.

The more I drew and painted red-crowned cranes, the more interested I became in learning about them. They are even more fascinating to me now that I know a bit more about them, and what they symbolize in Asian cultures. This piece was inspired by their "dance."

Oh, to be on a boat on the open seas....🧘♀️🩵🩵
If you enjoy calm, peaceful art created by a real person, I invite you to have a browse in my shop. You may just find something that strikes your fancy, AND you'd be supporting an indie artist with your purchase. 🫶

A little Zen for your Saturday.
😅 Very true - the bigger the dog, the bigger the zoomies!
And thank you for your kind words about my art! ☺️ It means so much to know it is appreciated.🙏🏼❤️
Every single human being deserves to be treated with dignity and care. Otherwise, we will.....live in the kind of world we are currently living in.
This is what happens when compassion, empathy, kindness, and selflessness are considered "weaknesses."
Our society makes me sick - in every way.

And it is lovely to "see" you again, my friend! It has been quite a while. I've missed you! 🫂😘
As always, thank you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼😘🫶
"Do you have your cute characters on t-shirts?"
I put a limited number of my designs on clothing, but I do have a few on shirts, including this new mouse drawing. It's current 25% off, so if you're in the market for a new shirt & enjoy my art, you may want to invite this piece into your closet. 🙏🏼😘

Sketchbook share from today: A quickie in between household chores, and adding new pieces to my shop for the *sale that starts tomorrow.* 😉

A long row of colorful tulips in a neighborhood yard.
I just cannot with this beauty today....🌷🌷🌷🥲

Pink and white cherry blossom petals scattered on the sidewalk. The camera is pointing down towards my feet and the walkway.
Little blossom petals scattered on the sidewalk are just as beautiful to me as when they are on the branches at their peak. It's a different sort of beauty, evoking a different sort of feeling, and serves as a gentle reminder of the fragility and impermanence of everything. 🙏🏼🌸🌸

Sorry you had one of those days yesterday. I hope today is better!🙂
Thanks, Elle! 🩷🌸😘
