Concept art for Drop Man’s design. If I did actual key art I would probably but more details in, make it more mechanical, but this works for the sprite design.
Drop Man’s sprite. I wanna mention that I used the NES colour palette and stuck mostly to NES restrictions. Of course I tried cheating it in the same way Megaman does, layering sprites allows for more complex colouring on characters. I’m proud of this.

For example:
1. Simple attack with funny possibility, followed by s t a b
2. Extremely over-detailed attack that holds a useful gimmick, but I didn’t realize I named it after a music genre until DAYS later
Pick Me Up Studios is a studio name I’ve had for years and is one I plan to use for when I go into game development. Using it for the website would potentially be more convenient for when I do start gamedev.
