This is exactly the level of stupidity we need to get Reform into power.
I don't know why this is so hard for some people to grasp. If we extend our use of fossil gas, rather than going all-out for grid batteries, heat pumps and induction hobs, we extend our dependence on *foreign* sources of gas, regardless of whether we also use the UK's last remaining reserves. 🧵
What the fuck, indeed. What are Y'all waiting for, GOP Congress? Are you THAT chickenshit to stand up against the Fanta Führer?
BREAKING: President Trump has issued an unlawful executive order attempting to severely restrict mail-in voting.
The Constitution is clear: Only the states or Congress can change election laws.
You couldn’t make it up
Good news!

No idea if it’s true but it seems extremely likely.
VICTORY! Government to open up the Land Registry - bringing to an end a thousand years of secrecy shrouding who owns England.
I’ve been campaigning for this for ten years: the new Land Use Framework, published later today, makes it government policy. 1/

Tweet from Acyn reporting CNN breaking news that Cuba’s electrical grid has completely collapsed, causing a nationwide blackout. The image shows a dim city skyline at dusk with a domed building silhouetted, alongside a CNN banner reading “Cuba’s electrical grid suffers total collapse.”
There are some 3,000 patients on dialysis machines in Cuba who are at risk of dying from a prolonged blackout.
This is awful. Another former sub postmaster has died, still waiting for compensation for being wrongly convicted in the Post Office scandal.
Parmod Kalia had his conviction overturned in 2021, 20 years after being sentenced to six months in jail after being falsely accused of stealing £22,000
When we called the PL corrupt, fans from other clubs (specifically the Big 6) said ‘rules are rules’ and our fans were just tinfoil hatted conspiracy nuts
But evidently rules can be interpreted to suit different agendas and preferential treatment is by its very nature corrupt
NEW: Two senior MOD whistleblowers with inside knowledge of Palantir's systems have come forward to @thenerve.news to say government ministers are ignorant of the grave national security risks the technology poses.

£47.5m is more than double Everton's breach that led to a Premier League record sanction of 10 points being deducted, recalculated to 6 on appeal
While this is a different charge, the commission said EFC "gained no sporting advantage" but still agreed a deduction

We've won the UK's first ever SLAPP suit - acting for @danneidle.bsky.social - and made some really important law protecting the right to call out barristers whose misconduct facilitates aggressive tax avoidance.
That is a unanimous, adamant YES. The sooner the better.
Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Alex Karp...the broligarchy...should not be ANYWHERE near any of our infrastructure or data.
Bodes well for the Toffees new deal

A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts.
Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir.
This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

Screenshot of an X post by Senator Tom Cotton saying Iran has been an imminent threat to the United States for 47 years and that the president was right to act. Below is a Fox News segment with Cotton speaking while footage labeled “U.S. Central Command – Unclassified” shows a strike.
“Imminent.” You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Seems like the media should at least express some curiosity about this.

Left: The Labour Party is running this misleading ad on the Green Party's drug policy, targeting a million people in Manchester and surrounding areas, including Gorton and Denton

Fantastic @andyburnham.bsky.social 👏
If our media wasn’t populated with indolent wankers, we’d never have voted for Brexit in the first place. The public ignorance and political dishonesty that discredit that ‘decision’ have media failure stamped all over them.
And now they all dodge accountability while we deal with the dismal fallout.
