Don't think it's an injury, bench were waiting to come on

As a Manchester United fan I rightly expect absolutely no sympathy for the abject state of my club. I will also say: Wenger's Arsenal overwhelmed Manchester United fair and square, while Chelsea and Manchester City didn't, and football as a whole is still paying a huge price for that.

Quite remarkable that Chelsea breaking rules to sign seven players (+ three unknown) who during their respective times at the club helped win a Champions League, the Europa League twice, two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and a League Cup didn't merit a points deduction

Honestly, the way this team can put you through 88 minutes of torture, then leave you feeling like this after an extraordinary contribution from Max Dowman is essentially absurd.

It looked like it was gonna be a nightmare, instead it became the stuff of dreams.

At 16 years and 73 days old, Max Dowman becomes the youngest ever Premier League goalscorer.

A star is born for Arsenal 💫

Barely an hour ago, Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif warned us all:

“If this madness doesn’t end, Gaza will be reduced to ruins, its people’s voices silenced, their faces erased — and history will remember you as silent witnesses to a genocide you chose not to stop.”

Israel just killed him.

Live Forever On Thursday morning I had a message from Andrew. We were due to record this week’s Arsecast at around 1pm. ‘I guess we’re going to have to talk about the Jota news,’ it read. I hadn’t been online for much of the morning so had no context. I immediately went to David Ornstein’s Twitter timeline. […] The post Live Forever appeared first on Arseblog ... an Arsenal blog.

"You'll never walk alone", as they boo a player who helped them win the title this season.

The league goes to LFC today, in all likelihood, and it’s well-deserved and shouldn’t be devalued by anyone.

Winning the PL is a rare, difficult accomplishment: we should know. It takes quality, good fortune - and it doesn’t matter in what proportions.

When you win it you deserve all the plaudits.

Rice x2

It’s been a tiring season, full of weirdness. We missed White for four months, Saka for four, Ode for a dozen games, Merino at the start when he was learning the team, Kai for what will be 15 games and cups. We are in 2nd, 10 clear of 5th, and in the CL QF.

It’s one hell of a job by MA, the squad.

18 - In the form of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, this was the first time that two players aged 18 or younger had scored for the same team in a Premier League game since Everton v Fulham in April 2007 (James Vaughan & Victor Anichebe). Fearless.
