none of the Language / Diffusion model companies have a moat.

WARREN: That's not my question. Are you refusing to tell us if you have investments in vehicles set up by Jeffrey Epstein?
KEVIN WARSH: Those assets will be sold if I'm confirmed
I feel seen in this thread
Yeah, exactly.
She carried a lot of water for Elon when people were pointing out verifiable issues
It turns out they can’t fit a guy in a suit that small
Ah, gotcha.
I was afraid it was from radar modeled data or PWS either of which is as good as a random number generator
where did you get the data? it seems like it's off by quite a bit for the stevens point area.

an old, grey two-story farm house with no remaining windows and a slightly sagging roof line. It's on a yellow-green early Spring grass field with a farm field behind it. Its field stone foundation looks fine, but you can see through some of the windows and past the house.
A red barn flanked by three silos. its shingle roof is temporarily covered in spots with metal siding
A red barn viewed end-wise with a white silo to its right. The barn has a horizontal elevated wooden foot bridge attached to its left side. The yard in front of the barn is flooded, revealing an inverted reflection, perfectly smooth at its base and wind-rippled as it reaches the barn's roof.
A few interesting pictures from yesterday's ride
It’s wild!
Hopefully your basement is dry

i agree with this when it comes to thoughtfully designed tools
it also create a sense among some people that this tool is their friend and/or confidant, which is much more harmful than helpful
my biggest problem is with human-naming language models and then setting inference too familiar/conversational.
That makes them approachable and trusted, but creates a couple of problems including that very trust being misplaced. The tool has no idea if it is correct.
What is JD’s endgame here? It’s hard to see how this will come up in his favor long term
That seems appropriate since they are tools.
Companies trying to anthropomorphize the tools are doing something harmful to a subset of the population.
*try not to
“Honestly, that’s a good observation…."
My impression of Clide bot. It’s so obsequious and painfully overuses a few words
I really wish they worked try to hard to anthropomorphize these bots. Imagine being a person who “likes” a language model
firm but fair review
They’re all so oversold, even Clide bot
they don't care.
They've metaphorically replaced photos of Jesus with photos of Trump long ago.
don't stare at his legs!
what ever happened to the roadster 2020 that electrek talked about so much when Fred was being offered one for promoting it?
Something something false idols
This list proves the madness of crowds. I might put one of those games in a top ten.
“Look at his twete,” said the member of oversight when asked an extremely basic question he was too afraid to answer
Have you played tears of the kingdom?
meh, clide and gemini are more or less the same to me, just difference in tone.
The only one really far behind is the chad gpt one, so i hope openai has a very strong balance sheet and cash flow.
how do you keep it so warm?
do you have heater in your pancake pocket?
Imagine waiting until 2026 to leave that platform
