2nd and 3rd, no outs, and the Red Sox can't get a single run in. 3 straight Ks.
They've been completely hapless at the plate this April.

And you do an excellent job. I agree with what you wrote, which was my original intent in replying. Sorry if it came across otherwise.
Take that 1 AB out and they’re still bottom 10 in Hits, Runs, HR, OPS, RBI, slugging, Total Bases, GIDP, Sac Flys, Sac Hits, BBs, stolen bases … according to Elias, they’re dead last at productive outs. They either don’t have a plan at the plate, or aren’t good enough to execute it.
I mean, of course Skubal is one of the best pitchers in the game. But that doesn’t excuse two bad swings on two borderline pitches, especially after 5 straight balls. Also, that one AB isn’t an outlier in this team’s performance.
Right on the money. It seems like they have no plan at the plate. No understanding of situation or how to make a productive out. They look like they're just up there hacking away. Wong's AB against Skubal with the bases juiced is the poster for this team's plate ineptitude.
There are times (like, 3 times an inning) when it feels like Red Sox batters have no plan. They're just up they're hacking. Bases loaded vs Skubal, who's thrown 5 straight balls, then Wong (your #8 hitter) swings at two sinkers, then GIDP. IKF flies out. Bases loaded, 0 outs, 1 run.
Welcome home, Artemis crew.
I get that there are much more important things happening in the world but Rory put on a show of shows this afternoon.

So. Much. Not. Winning.
We have the dumbest head of state in the world.
This is my favorite stat in baseball right now.

Invoke the 25th.
Against a team like the Brewers, who seemingly do everything right, the Red Sox ability to seemingly do everything wrong is especially hard to watch.
Safe travels to the crew of Artemis II!
If MLB did a "This is Your Life" episode for CB Bucknor, 85% of it would just be replays of hitters employing the ABS challenge and the MLB season is 3.5 days old.
I'm not a St. John's fan but I love watching this St. John's team. Old School Big East vibes. Love to see it.

Boiler Up.
Great game.
Abolish ICE.
O’Neil Cruz is not having a good bottom of the first.
Both of his misplays should be errors but bc baseball official scoring is dumb, they’re not.
Skenes chased in the first. Welcome back to baseball, NBC!
A brilliant WBC tournament from Venezuela!
Whitlock looks shaky (and maybe a little gassed) and Suarez rips a flat offering for a double. Venezuela back in front, still nobody out.
Drama!
Bryce Harper!
The World Baseball Classic has been phenomenal.
This game was so much fun.
Baseball is such a great sport, full of so much emotion, I can't understand why anyone who would call an important baseball games could be so negative and miserable and boring.
Not speaking about any one person.
Nope.
Not at all.
Enjoy the US/Canada World Baseball Classic game, everyone.

Early WBC games a bit of a dud, so far today, but this Duke vs. Louisville women's ACC championship game is the goods.
Glad we all have to sacrifice for the least popular war anyone alive has experienced.
Feels like there's been more passing in the first 10 laps of the Australian GP than in the last 10 years combined. Leclerc and Russell putting on a show. Verstappen already up to 10th. The Aston Martins haven't rattled themselves into oblivion, yet. This is the goods.
No Kings.
Abolish ICE.
Panama and Puerto Rico playing a HELL of a baseball game in San Juan right now.
