Thanks to an amazing grant from the Mantua Powelton Alliance, we are adding three new Cricut machines to our fleet, along with heat presses and assorted supplies! My kids are going to be so excited!
With grades in yesterday and two days left before my kids leave for their next elective, my 5th graders and I are working on a Design A New Sport challenge, and they have some amazing ideas!

Spending my morning trying to take over the world in Civ.
It was really a mind-shift for me to realize that "make good choices or you WON'T be able to sit with me" was so much more powerful than "you're acting the fool so now you HAVE to sit with me". Made me feel a lot more positive about my classroom.

In these challenging days of being an educator, I've been trying to focus more on the positives of my job. One thing that made me happy yesterday was realizing that for the majority of my kids, being asked to come work at my table with me is seen as a reward, not a punishment. 💜
Nice! It's been hard not opening all of it at once.
Just a few more days til I can start opening my Inkvent calendar! Been waiting to refill some of my new fountain pens, lol.
