Absolutely!! I’m done working at the farm for the summer so my Thursdays are more open, Fridays and Sundays are good days to coffee too!!

Doing what I can to be here for clients and find moments of joy to sink into, no matter how small or insignificant in the long run. Any opportunity for a nervous system reset, you know? Minimizing news/media/social media helps :) You? Hope you’re feeling better!!

Have you read Timothy Snyder’s work, “On Tyranny”? He also has a YouTube collection of key points he talks about from it. This is one of the positive steps against it he talks about :)

I’m so sorry to hear this, Joe. If there is a Gilda’s Club near you, please reach out to them for free support (including specific cancer groups) for you and your partner.

For me it’s not a stylistic preference but something I kept after multiple “corrections” in my youth that dented my grades and kept me from getting perfect scores. The shame keeps me perpetuating it, despite being able to learn the new way. I just don’t want to give it up now. Sorry!

Always! I’m never sure what I’ll be in the mood for and like choices. If it’s a really compelling story, I know I’ll get sucked in and read it cover to cover, but I have so many professional and hobby interests, it’s harder for me to get drawn in and devour it.

Not sure when I reached the season of life when reading books on masturbation at a punk rock concert was a thing, but I am here for it. #radkey #DrSprankle #wank

I’m still getting to know my character, Turnip, we’re only a little ways into the campaign. She’s a character that’s very similar to me and I’m finding that challenging. My favorite character was a queer halfling ranger with a hair fetish and, despite max scores in archery, consistently awful rolls

It’s been great fun. And we’re all over the map in classes… two of us randomly chose forest gnomes (ranger (me) and rogue), a centaur cleric, aasimar cleric and a Dragonborn fighter. We just found the construct in a ridiculously hilarious turn of fate.

Nailed it, lol!
For reference- my D&D group is in a dinosaur campaign right now and 2 of us are gnomes. We’ve had 3 birthdays this month, so I made a cake.

Wisconsin folx, vote this week! Susan Crawford is your State Supreme Court choice if you care about human rights. The School Superintendent race is also contested. Jill (incumbent) is backed by the Dem party, the other is a Chicagoan with republican support.

Wisconsin has an important Supreme Court election too (and superintendent of schools). The courts could turn if voters don’t show up!

Granted, about another 20% went to vet bills… dogs are also expensive. Both are rewarding enough to be 100% worth it.
