We are having this philosophical discussion about alive, born, beginning of life etc bc it isn’t a ‘fact’ either way. When life begins has been debated for centuries. And because everybody has their own definition of when life begins the state shouldn’t tell us what is what.

Also, Judaism believes life starts at birth. Why is your religious belief correct but theirs isn’t? The US has no state religion and hence shouldn’t make laws based on individual religions

It’s a religious belief to think a fetus is already a human being. And every religion has their own belief on when life starts. Religion and government should be separate and freedom of religion should allow people to make decisions based on their own beliefs when it comes to their bodies.
