narrative is not "things happen" and then it ends. It's a dialogue between story teller and listener. The beauty of it is YOU are controlling every aspect of that story, and every piece is put there with intention. If you can't even do that and just want to automate it, then what's even the point.

God every time I see someone say ai is helpful because it makes writing/art easier I just think like... if you really need ai to help you tell your story, then you have nothing of worth to say. You just want the gratification that comes with telling a story that resonates with people.
