Chances are I won’t find another Tauros in this area, so I’d rather just throw a ball and actually attempt a catch. I’ll be hunting in the other area for Tauros in the future anyway and I will bait for that one.

The craziest shiny I've ever found. Phase 25 for Chansey and before seeing a single Chansey, I see Tauros. I opted to just throw a ball and not use the bait strat for this and it ended up fleeing first turn. Still amazing to see.

Decided to come back to this hunt and found 3 in one day! 5,744 for Nidoran, 4,552 for Rhyhorn, and then 3,112 for Exeggcute! Caught all three and this was actually my first Exeggcute that I managed to catch.

Today's Pokémon Presents countdown animation has Gen 3 represented by Spheal—two of them (two of them). The Ruby & Sapphire easter eggs include a Pokéblock case, the Wailmer pail, and some Secret Base decorations (water balloons and music note panels).
