Governor Kotek issues notice of potential veto today pursuant to article 5 section 15 B(4) of the Oregon constitution governor, Tina Kotek provided notice that she is considering a veto on the following bill from the 2026 legislative session house bill 4177, relating to public meetings. The governor understands the intent of the legislation however, she is considering a veto because of concerns that parts of the bill may undermine transparency in the conducting a public business. The deadline for governor Kotek to make a final decision on this bill is Friday, April 17.
