The Framing of Decisions and the Psychology of Choice on JSTOR Amos Tversky, Daniel Kahneman, The Framing of Decisions and the Psychology of Choice, Science, New Series, Vol. 211, No. 4481 (Jan. 30, 1981), pp. 453-458

Assuming the research question is not interested in mothers or fathers (in some way), I would also report it in a +ve 'direction'.

I understand that the +ve framing makes it easier to absorb the message (although Psychology is not my area)

🙏Drs Jess Pepper, Bo Yao, Jason Braithwaite & Helen Nuttall ( @lancasteruni.bsky.social ) for involving me with the project.

Here's to more!

We found:
✅ Same behaviour, different brain strategies
✅ Younger adults show alpha changes; older adults didn't

❗️What is the implication?
Understanding how attention & multisensory integration change with age 🟰 ✅interventions, linking physical + cognitive training.

And the final one:

🧠 Ageing brains process attention & sensory info differently - without changing performance.

📜We compared younger & #olderadults & explored how #attention & multisensory integration (combining sights & sounds) change with age, & how these changes relate to balance.

And we continue with this one:

▶️Can manipulating rest improve #jump #performance ?

We redistributed rest in complex-contrast training sets (heavy squats + jumps).

🔹 Jump performance ↔️
🔹 Time spent on the ground⬆️

✅Significant ⬆️in splits & bridges flexibility, & shoulder mobility
✅Significant ⬆️in scores of key figures (Ariana, Rio)

❗️Why does this matter?
Adding Pilates twice a week could improve sport-specific performance for young female artistic swimmers, ⬆️ medal chances.

⬆️sport-specific performance

in young #female artistic swimmers.

Working in #academia can be tough - not sure anyone working in it would doubt that.

But every now & then, good things do happen… & sometimes they resemble the proverbial buses! 🚌🚌

2️⃣papers from #PhD students' studies were accepted in close succession 🙂.
