An AI slop image showing the '12 steps to masterful game directing", including 'Connectiarg' and 'Porkon Cows'
People over on Facebook/YouTube/elsewhere on bluesky/reality have been mocking this, but these are all totally genuine and highly advanced GMing techniques pioneered in obscure corners of indie rpg design in the early 2000s.
Let's go through them one by one and learn together.
Clearly a problem with bluesky’s connectiarg
It seems to be back to normal speed now…
I was hoping it had happened and bsky had fallen over due to traffic
BEAST FOLD

Gone down a bit of a rabbit hole in the archives of Jackie. So on 19th April 1980, one 13-year-old reader wrote movingly to the Cathy & Claire agony aunt page about her fear of nuclear war.
Wow
I thought your best bet for a strip talking about nuclear war in some way would be Jinty which was the wildest title out of Fleetway, but seems not based on wiki’s list of strips
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinty_(...
That’s wild! Girls mags/comics were great and often innovative. I have a tiny pile of Buntys and judging from them I would be very surprised if anything nuclear showed up in that comic, I think it’s a bit too conservative in the subjects it covered.
The cover of girls magazine Jackie, from February 28 1976. It shows a smiling young woman face on to the camera, wearing a broad brimmed white hat and a red and white striped top. And as a bonus, you get a free leap year love brooch with this issue.
I never knew - until this morning - that Robert C. O'Brien's post-apocalyptic novel Z for Zacharia was serialised from February to April 1976 in the popular British girls magazine Jackie. Every day is indeed a school day.
New lore drop for Maskwitches of Forgotten Doggerland fans who, like me, apparently enjoy cribbing the work of serious and dedicated academics to make their weird let’s pretend games inexplicably more complex to research and think about! LOVE IT pop that in your impact study, my academic friendos!

Since Maria Dahvana Headley was kind enough to provide the foreword to our BEOWULF game, and given how much I love her translation, it has to be “Bro”.
Smaller universities employ thousands, sell products to customers across the world and export British soft power. They are successful businesses, often bringing wealth to our poorer communities. Why does the government want to stop that? Why aren't more MPs fighting for them?
Ughhhh this fucking sucks dude!
All the worst cunts in the world - from journalism to politics, the Kermlin to the White House - are suffering tonight.
…maybe democracy is not fundamentally broken and it’s just the media apparatus, the tech oligarchs, the global economic system, the calcified social power of smug petit-elites, and the open field for fascists and racists and psychopaths that we need to deal with
Orbán concedes in Hungary.
