after playing it for a week now i genuinely think pokopia is the pokemon game i've always wanted, i severely underestimated what it was based on the trailers. it's the best game they've made in years

very difficult to do my job when all i can think about is ditto game and what kind of sick home i want to build for my charizard

there are just ways that he plays songs live that elevate them!! my fave example is What A Good Boy, their producer on that album wanted a small and simple ending but they always felt like it needed to be way bigger so that's how he's played it live ever since and it's my favourite part of the song

another neat collaborative one in this is gwima, where we animated the lip sync using a basic rig and then the fx artists drew 2D fire on top of it

the chibi rig was my favourite! like you see in the video, it let us create a mouth shape without having to worry about the skin geo around it while still having a mouth bag that went back in depth through the face of the character, but cos of the way it was masked you didn't see any of the crashing
